No sediment on the tank bottom

The ejector mechanism adopted in inside of the body assures a vast fluid passage area in the cylinder. The ecorator sucks up a large amount of sludge or carrier and can fully agitate heavy sludge in the tank.


High-efficient oxygen transfer rate

The ejector and venturi cutter generate fine air bubbles. In addition, the powerful airlift effect break finely the sucked air-bubbles and water repeatedly.


Energy saving effect

The three points of "High-efficient oxygen transfer rate", "low pressure loss" and "intermittant operation" enables to reduce the burden on the blower and stable operation with less power consumption.


Absolutely maintenance-free

Clog-free and non-moving part structure allows no regular cleaning nor part replacement, enabling long-term use of the Ecorator without any decline in its' performance.

Interior structure and the principle of fine air bubble creation

Newly developed 3-D venturi polytope model

The 3-D polytope model is based on the venturi principle which creats a pressure difference between passing water and air bubbles. Then, this pressure difference of the flow occurring at the venturi projection refines the large bubbles to fine ones leading to efficient oxygen transfer. The Ecorator is adopted poly propylene(PP) for its body, it can also be use for chemical and in high heat environment.


Ejector-styled air discharge part

The Ecorator is adopted the ejector-styled air discharge part, so it can suck up sludge, carrier and water from the tank bottom. In addition, its large cross-section of the air outlet and the surface polish of PP and SUS helps prevent clogging.


Interior structure and the principle of fine air bubble creation



The air discharge is at the outside of the inner cylinder, and the air and water is split by the cutter for efficient mixing.



The venturi cutter structure design based on aeromechanics generators a pressure difference between passing water and air bubbles, splittingand refining the air bubbles.



The powerful suction feature sucks a large amount of sludge carrying water from the tank bottom, increasing contact with the fine bubbles, and heightens the oxygen transfer rate.

Small rubber outlet holes get clogged because of the large resistance force.
No sludge at the tank bottom. The sludge accumulated at the tank bottom. Sludge accumulation is inevitable due to the small airlift effect and the absence of a suction port.
The Ecorator can reduce blower power consumption because high oxygen transfer rate, low pressure loss and intermittent opration is available. Conventional air diffuser is originally pressure loss is higher than the Ecorator.
If its aeration hole is clogging, its pressure loss and power consumption of the aeration blower is also even higher.
Installation and piping Agitation area per unit is wider than conventional air diffuser, so piping layout can be simple and its construction cost is less than conventional one. Compared with the Ecorator, agitation area per unit is narrower, so piping layout can be complex and its construction work is costlier than Ecorator.

Problems with current diffusers/Request from a client (food factory) for improvements

  • It was necessary to operate in intermittent aeration because the inflow load was changed depending on the season.
    However, disc diffusers were clogging and couldn't operate well.

Results after the installation of the Ecorators

  • The Ecorator can operate under intermittent operation even when the inflow load is low.
  • Sludge Accumulation was improved.
  • The oxygen transfer rate became stable because the Ecorator is clog-free.
    In addition, the DO rate was also stable.
